Frequently Asked Questions About Our Custom Homes
If you’re considering purchasing a custom home, congratulations! Planning and purchasing a new house should feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so it’s okay to have a lot of questions. At Tri-Town Construction, we’ve designed and built custom homes for countless customers, so we can help answer some frequently asked questions that new home buyers often have.
Do I need to hire an architect or plan designer first?
If you partner with Tri-Town Construction, our talented team can assist you with the design of your custom home from floor to ceiling. We also have a range of custom home models that don’t require any special planning besides making them a perfect fit for your property.
However, since we’re construction and remodeling professionals with years of experience, we’re more than happy to work with your personal architect or designer to incorporate your ideas into your custom home.
Where are your floor plans?
You can check out all of our current custom home models here.
What is your price per square foot?
Compared to a traditional home build or simply buying an existing home, our custom homes offer a much lower price point relative to square footage. There are many factors that can influence the overall cost, but our typical homes fall under $200 per square foot.
Do you have a standard features list?
You can find the standard features for our models located in the downloadable PDF brochures at the bottom of our models page, here.
In what areas do you build?
Tri-Town Construction is proud to serve homeowners throughout Southwest Florida from our headquarters in the Fort Myers/Bonita Springs area.
How long does it take to build a home?
A typical custom home can be built in around 6-9 months, but many factors can influence that figure, like where your home will be located and what the local construction requirements are.
What is an ICF home?
Insulated concrete form (ICF) is a revolutionary building material that enables our custom homes to be vastly sturdier, quieter, and more energy efficient than standard wooden frame homes. Simply put, ICF offers a wealth of benefits to homeowners.
Who will be my main point of contact during construction?
As your project progresses, you’ll work with many different members of our team, but you can always count on someone from the Tri-Town Construction team to be ready to answer any questions you have. We’re committed to exceptional customer service, so you can trust that someone will always have your back.
